Our 2014 Summer CSA Season

A CSA is partnership between the Farmer and the Community.  The community buys “shares” in the harvest each year.  These shares are purchased in the late winter early spring when much of the farm operating cost are incurred (seeds, soil nutrients, potting soil, equipment, repairs, etc.).
We offer 18 weekly distributions from June 18th through October 23th
(If we have to start late we'll run late.)

Payments - We ask that you send in the appropriate deposit or pay in full when you sign up for a share.  ALL BALANCES are due by May 1st.  Memebers who are unable to meet this deadline contact the farm and we'll work something out. Members who consider themselves low income should contact us for special rates.  The farm itself will support a minimum number of low income shares.  Any money received by members in addition to the regular rates will go toward subsidizing additional low income shares.  This is a great way to help a family in need!

Please make your deposit by April 1st at the latest.  We expect to have a waiting list by this time.  Shares will be awarded on a first-come first-serve basis with receipt of the deposit determining the date.  All balances must be paid May 15th.

What do your payments do?

Without CSA funds early in the spring or late winter we would not be able to purchase all the necessary operating supplies we need to grow the vegetables.  From compost to a new to new harrow blades, we need your support for the farm!

“CSA members make a commitment to support the farm throughout the season and assume the costs, risks and bounty of growing along side of the farmer or grower”
